Schublig

A popular smoked sausage from the Toggenberg region in Switzerland that is traditionally characterized by a blend of milk without fat, onions and spices. Typically brown in color on the outside and pinkish in the inside. This can be boiled, fried or grilled.

Bratwurst

A German sausage that is typically pork but can sometimes be also beef or veal. Literally meaning ‘finely chopped’ and ‘sausage’ is also often associated with the verb braten that means to pan fry or roast. Regarded as a simple snack, these favorites are enjoyed with or in a bread roll, eaten with mustard and often served in pubs alongside some potato salad or sauerkraut sometimes with a dark, country crusty bread made from rye.

Frankfurter

A highly seasoned smoked sausage that’s made of with a combination of beef and pork. These thin, long cooked sausages are usually paired with potato salad or horse radish, mustard, and bread. As the name suggests, the origins of this sausage are from Frankfurt.

Italian Garlic

A fennel seasoned pork sausage that take on different colors, sweetness, and intensity of spice depending on the region in Italy it is made. Basically known as Lucanica during the ancient Roman times was minced meat stuffed in pig intestines. There is also mention of Lucania as the birthplace of this sausage. These sausages can be fried or grilled and can even be opened up and crumbled to be added unto pasta or pizza.

Hungarian

A mildly seasoned spicy sausage that is enjoyed boiled, fried, or grilled together with potatoes or eaten as a sandwich with various dressings.

American breakfast

A brown, highly seasoned sausage that can be paired with eggs, pancakes, or hash browns that is also sometimes enjoyed with gravy or maple syrup.

Country sausage

A short, smoked sausages that have a subtle flavor. Taken as a meal usually with eggs and toast but sometimes also eaten together with baked beans
